A recently uncovered, and completely untouched obsolete calibre .577/450 Martini Henry Cavalry Carbine, dated 1885.
This example was produced at Enfield, and carries issue markings for the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry to the butt stock.
A proliferation of clear markings to the metalwork and woodwork.
It obviously entered cadet use at some point, as it has a saw cut below the Nocks form on the barrel.
Crisp working action.
Complete with its correct clearing rod.
A good and hard to find carbine, which would display well, and be improved with some gentle cleaning.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
UK Sale only.
