Code: 12255
A solid 1885 Pattern British Cavalry Troopers Sword.
Even patina to the exposed elements of the hilt and scabbard, service wear to the grips, and a good bright blade.
This example produced by Weyersburg, Kirchbaum of Solingen under contract to the War Office. It is dated 1886 on the blade, with further resissue and inspection markings to blade and scabbard.
The scabbard bearing markings for the 3rd Transport company of the Army Service Corps. It is very likely that this sword saw service throught the Boer War, and into WW1.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched. Please send this at the time of ordering, to prevent unnecessary delay in your order being dispatched.
