A very clean example, maker marked to the ricasso "J.A.&N.S. Regent Street, London"

The Junior Army and Navy Stores, also known as York House, was founded in June 1879 by Major Clench as a cooperative society.

Plated basket guard of 1895 pattern. Some losses to the plating, particularly to the interior, as is usual with this pattern.

The 32.5 inch blade is in very good condition, maintaining a high degree of original polish, and exhibiting the usual VR and floral etching.

Housed in a brown leather field service scabbard, with original knot.

Likely produced by Wilkinson sword.

A very good example, the blade would be difficult to upgrade.

Strictly over 18's only.
