A very nice example of the Afghan "Tulwar" or Paluoar/Paluoar sword.
This example is mid 19thC in date, and has a blade length of 30 inches (taken in a straight line) 35.5 inches overall.
The blade seems to show some signs of lamination, and shows twin "eyelash" armoury markings.
The hilt exhibits several decorative features, and is solid to the blade.
A nice untouched example of this fearsome weapon, which would benefit from some gentle cleaning.
Strictly over 18's only.
