A good Javanese Keris or Kris Dagger.
This example with a wavy blade, which I suspect is much older than the rest of the dagger, which I would estimate as late 19th, early 20thC. The wavy hand forged blade with a length of 14.75 inches, and appears to be 18thC or perhaps earlier.
The handle of carved hardwood, perhaps Tayuman, with a white metal collar. The scabbard of hardwood, sheathed in decorated brass with intricate repousse work.
20.5 inches overall in scabbard.
