Code: 12503
A very good, untouched 19thC example of the distinctive Afghan Pulwar or Pulouar.
Substantial curved 30 inch blade with triple fullers. There are markings in the fullers on one side, and a makers marking towards the right hand ricasso. The blade remains very sharp, and this example was certainly made for use.
36 inches overall, in scabbard.
Housed in its original scabbard, with tooled decoration. The remains of an old label is pasted to the scabbard, with a later "tag" which I think is rather optimistic in it's assessment of the age of the sword.
Completely untouched condition, it could benefit from some careful attention.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched. Please send this at the time of ordering, to prevent unnecessary delay in your order being dispatched.
