Dutch Klewang Sidearm

Dutch Klewang Sidearm

Code: 11703

SOLD

An untouched Dutch/Netherlands Dutch Klewang Short Sword/Sidearm.

This example was captured and converted by Japanese Invasion Forces during WW2.

The grips are of hardwod, with a curved steel cross guard, which is now slightly loose.

17.75 inch single fullered curved blade with signs of the original blued finish, underneath the old rust and grime. There is a circular makers marking at the ricasso. The cutting edge shows signs of sharpening, and edge nicks.

Complete with its original leather scabbard. The throat has its original leather hanger tab. Some old scuffs, but sound condition.

Direct from an attic, and in accordingly solid but  slightly grubby condition, likely a souviner bring back.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
