Curved 28.3/4 inch blade, similar to that of a tulwar, and sharpened to a very keen edge.

The iron guard bearing the numerals "44" which may indicate a trooper or regimental designation.

Unusual broad, domed pommel.

Beautifully turned hardwood grip.

Good bright blade, with some scattered areas of dark staining and minor pitting, small amount of play between blade and hilt, but generally a very pleasing, and possibly quite early sword.

Strictly over 18's only.
