A pleasing example of this iconic British bayonet, produced to fit the Martini Henry Artillery Carbine.
The impressive 25.5 inch blade with original markings at both ricasso's, and to the spine. Further markings to the hilt.
The hilt and scabbard mounts which appears to have been cleaned at some point appear dull, and would benefit from a further light clean and polsih.
Complete in its original steel mounted leather scabbard, which is an excellent fit and comes in good condition.
Becoming scarce.
