An exceptionally clean 1888 pattern Lee Metford Bayonet.
This example by Wilkinson Sword, and dated 1899. The blade is still in its original polish with only small areas of light rust. Pommel and crossguard look to have some light corrosion. The grips look like they've just left the factory. Scabbard also in very good condition.
If you are looking for a very good "type" example, dated for the Boer War, this bayonet would be hard to improve upon.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
