Code: 11402
A good untouched 1888 Lee Metford Bayonet.
This ordnance example carries the pattern designation mark to the pommel: "PAT 88" with tail to tail Broad Arrows above. This is quite a rare marking, and seems to have only been used on early Wilkinson produced examples.
Good clear Inspection markings to both wooden grips.
The blade made by Wilkinson, London, with a bend test "X" to the other icasso. No other markings, or visible dates.
Housed in its original steel mounted leather scabbard.
A hard to upgrade example.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
