A good P13 bayonet produced by Remington, produced for the British Enfield P14 Rifle.
This example is dated 10/16 at the ricasso, and also carries the pattern date of "1913" as well as various inspection markings, Broad arrow, and carries an X to denote that it has passed the bend test. It is stamped "Remington" within a roundel.
The blade has been service sharpened. A good amount of original finish remaining.
The wooden grips are very good, with twin horozontal lines on both scales.
This bayonet is in good untouched condition, not having previously been in a collection. It could do with a gentle clean and tidy, but looks as though it had a very easy service life.
Housed in its correct British pattern scabbard, retaining a lot of its original brown colour to the scabbard body, stamped marks to the rear.
