A lovely and untouched 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet with hooked quillion.
This example dated 1909 and produced by Sanderson, with crowned ER and various other markings at the ricasso.
Unit marked "S.F." with an "R." below, on the pommel for the Royal Scots Fusiliers. Also carries a rack number. No oil hole.
Housed in a correct scabbard with tear drop stud.
Nice untouched condition, with some light staining and old grease to the blade, some active rust and black spots, all of which could be easily improved. A good, sought after bayonet to an important Scottish unit.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
