A scarce P13 bayonet produced by Vickers, being one of only 1500 produced for the British Enfield P14 Rifle.
This example is dated 3/17 at the ricasso, and also carries crowned GR, Broad arrow, and carries an X to denote that it has passed the bend test. It is stamped "Vickers" and also carries thier logo.
The blade has been service sharpened.
The wooden grips are very good, and stamped crowned inspection markings are visible on both scales.
This bayonet is in good untouched condition, not having previously been in a collection. It could do with a gentle clean and tidy, but looks as though it had a very easy service life.
Housed in its correct British pattern scabbard, retaining a lot of its original brown colour
