A very good and untouched WW1 1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet.
This example produced by Wilkinson, and dated September 1917. It has reinspection marks for 1923 and 1933.
Pommel catch working but stiff.
Lots of original finish to the hilt, and scabbard mounts.
A good blade, with signs of service sharpening.
Housed in the standard leather scabbard with steel mounts. Markings to the rear.
This recently uncovered bayonet is in generally very good condition, and is only in need of a light clean and oil. Oddly only the screw bolts have any rust, but only light, and easily removed.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched. Please send this at the time of ordering, to prevent unnecessary delay in your order being dispatched.
