A very good and fresh to the market, non matching WW2 German K98 Bayonet.
This example with bakelite grips, maker stamped "GEBR HELLER" and dated (19)37 to the spine.
Waffenampt stamps to both bayonet and scabbard, the pommel catch functioning smoothly. Plenty of original finish to the bayonet and scabbard, alongwith some light rust and. The blade very good, and still coated in grease.
The scabbard fitted with a modified cavalry frog, the retaining strap having been neatly removed, likely in service. Makers stamp to the rear, with a date of 1939.
A good, untouched set.
