All Black B2 2nd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes

All Black B2 2nd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes

Code: 10706

A near mint example of the all black FS fighting knife.

Stamped B2 to the crossguard.

Blade length 6.8 inches.

No signs of loss or deformation to the tip, it retains its needle point. The blade has been professionally sharpened, and is like a razor, but no over-sharpening.

The hand ground blade has the smaller wedge at the ricasso, with the manufacturing notch found on these early B2 knives just visible above the cross guard.

The cross guard retains almost all of its orginal finish, as does the knurled brass grip, losing it mostly toward the coke bottle pommel. The pommel nut is unmolested and the correct vice marking is visible.

Housed in a very nice mid WW2 sheath with elastic still present, but detached.

You will struggle to improve on this knife.

Strictly over 18's Only.
