An unusual Sawback Imperial German Fighting Knife.
Of a type I haven't seen before. It has been stored for many years with the other fighting knife listed in a 1915 dated German bread bag.
Stag antler grip with pommel cap, and steel crossguard. The blade with single fuller, culminating in a spear point. The back edge with saw teeth.
The blade measures almost 9 inches, just under 14 inches overall.
Housed in its original leather scabbard with belt loop and press stud fastener.
Generally good untouched condition, staining to the blade, and some movement to the crossguard where the blade washer has perished.
