Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern Commando Knife

Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern Commando Knife

Code: 11900

A very good post war Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern Commando Knife.

This knife carries cross guard markings of "William Rodgers" along with thier motto "I Cut my Way" to one side, and "Made in Sheffield, England" to the other.

A very lightly used example. It retains a good amount of original finish to both blade and grip. It remains untouched since it was found, so a gentle clean would bring out the best in it, as both hilt and scabbard have dots of old white emulsion paint on them.

It has a blade length of just under 7 inches. The blade shows light sharpening, and has some old rust and grime.

The sheath is original, and still has its tabs and is in good condition. It is complete with the original elastic retaining strap.

Overall a very respectable example of one of the better post war 3rd pattern knive available.
