An interesting Georgian period officers Dirk.
Not an overly extravagent example, but none the less quite a refined , with well turned grip of heart wood, with pronounced pommel. Stylised brass crossguard and ferrule, with double edged stilleto type blade.
It could well be naval, but may just have easily belonged to a gunner.
Blade length: 7.25 inches. Overall length: 12.75 inches.
No movement between blade and hilt, the blade with a very slight bend.
