Code: 11921
WW2 US M3 fighting knife and M6 scabbard.
A well used example, blade marked "U.S.M3 Camillus 1943"
They produced a total of 404109 M3 knives during WW2.
Housed in a M6 scabbard. For some reason the markings have been obliterated, although it I beleive it is marked "U.S. M6, MILSCO, 1943."
This has been further personalised with the addition of the original owners name "Pat Rossi" on the belt flap of the scabbard.
Overall condition is very much "as found" with old rust and corrosion to the hilt and crossguard, and blade. The blade shows signs of heavy sharpening, and the point has been modified to a screwdriver or spatulate tip.
However, both knife and scabbard are in solid condition, with no movement between blade, grip or crossguard.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
