A good untouched Royal Air Force example, marked with a broad arrow, and makers mark "E&C. S." along with the date of manufacture "1945" to the blade. The British version, is not as easy to find, as opposed to its more common USAF counterpart.
The blade is bright it appearance, but does carry traces of old grease, with some light rust and staining, but it should clean up very nicely. A small amount of play between blade and grip when extended, as is normal. Good strong spring, and stiff action for lack of use.
Complete with its removable blade guard.
