Scarce 1918 British Army Machete

Scarce 1918 British Army Machete

Code: 11429

A well used example of this hard to find Great War period machete.

This example by Samuel Kitchin of Sheffield, and dated 1918 under the logo. The blade and grip also bear broad arrow markings.

Old corrosion, rust, pitting and sharpening marks, but a genuine and rare example.

Housed in an original leather scabbard by "Timbers" and also dated 1918. Some loss to the stitching, and the retaining strap, but basically sound overall.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
