A scarce Percussion Revolver Holster.
It would appear to be for a Colt percussion revolver.
Measuring 14 inches in length.
No visible markings, and would appear to be handmade rather than a commercial production.
This example is "as found" and currently in solid condition, all holding firm, and generally sound, retaining its full and functioning flap, fastener, and belt loops. The stitching has some undone down one side, and it would benefit from some feeding and conservation work to preserve it for future generations.
A rarity, and a seldom seen opportunity to add a period original holster to your display.
