Likely dating to the first quarter of the 20thC, this particular kukri shares some chracteristics of examples known to have been carried by the 10th Gurkha Rifles during the First World War.
The 12 inch blade of Ang Khola form, showing an "Armoury" marking of a crescent moon to the middle of the right hand side of the blade. Steel bolster and butt cap with peened diamond shaped keeper. Hardwood grip with central grip ring and banding. 16 inches overall.
Housed in its original scabbard with crude repairs and paint. Original brass chape.
