Here is a very neglected example of the hard to find "tool kit" kukri, which some liken to the Nepalese version of the Swiss army knife.
I shall let the images do the talking, but briefly this kukri dates from around the 1930's. The kukri itself is solid but rusty and requires complete cleaning. The wooden grip on the main blade is ok, but the smaller horn grips on the tools have suffered, and need replacing. Scabbard is remarkably sound. Total length of kukri in scabbard is just over 16 inches.
A good, inexpensive project for anybody with the time and skills, which will yield a good end product.
