A good late 19thC Gurkha Kukri.
This example with a sizeable 14 inch blade with twin spine fullers running for almost 6 inches.
Grease, dirt and old rust and some pitting to the blade, as well as signs of lamination.
4 inch hardwood grip with carved central grip ring and line decoration. Minor chips to the edges of the pommel.
Housed in an associated scabbard with tooled decoration.
An impressive kukri which has many of the characteristics of a military weapon.
