A very attractive metal hilted kukri of officers quality, dating to the early 20thC.
This example for restoration. Although it displays well, the white metal hilt has sustained a blow to the pommel area, and has a dent. Subsequently the grip is now loose on the blade. It ought to be possible to carefully remove the grip, correct the dent, and re-seat and attach the handle firmly.
The blade is in very good condtion, covered in old dry grease, with attractive twin spine fullers. The blade measures 14 inches. 18 inches overall.
Housed in its original leather covered wooden scabbard in good condition, the rear pouch complete, the beginning of a split at the mouth.
Worthy of restoration, which would yield a very good kukri.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
