A very good WW2 example, similar in design to a MKIII. Possibly issued to a particular battalion, but no visible markings.
Steel bolster and pommel cap.
Good quality thick frog with copper rivets. Leather covered wooden scabbard with minor losses, and would benefit from a feed and polish.
Heavy 12.25 inch blade, 16.75 inches overall.
Strictly over 18's only.
