Parcelforce&Royal Mail Edged Weapons Prohibition

Dear Customers and Friends,

Following the announcement by Royal Mail and Parcelforce that with effect from 7th May they will no longer provide domestic or international shipping services for swords or other edged weapons, I will be temporaily halting the sale of edged weapons until the situation can be resolved, or suitable alternatives can be sourced.

My last posting day for edged weapons will be the 2nd of May for UK buyers. As of today, the 26th of April, I will no longer be shipping edged weapons abroad.

Please understand that this is being done with great reluctance, but I cannot risk my customers not recieving their orders.

I would ask all of my UK customers to contact both Parcelforce and Royal Mail and raise their concerns. Please also contact your local MP, and let them know about the significance of your hobby, and how this will impact you.

This ill concieved prohibition will not only impact on myself and my customers, but also every other UK dealer, auction house, knife maker, historical re-enactor, and sports people. 

These antique items are not illegal, and are free to be traded here in the UK. Please help support us, and protect our shared hobby.

Postage and BREXIT Update

To our valued European friends and customers: It is now with great regret that I am no longer able to export items to EU countries. BREXIT having now taken place, we have experienced delays in getting items to you, and coupled with the additional paperwork and charges it is now no longer viable for me to export items to you. I can only apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience this brings.
