A very fine, late 19th century silver hilted kukri.
Blade length 14.75 inches. Hilt length 3.75 inches.
The blade with twin spine fullers, and signs of lamination. Retaining a sharp edge, some old staining, and would benefit from a careful polish.
Leather covered wooden scabbard. Signs of it once having silver mounts (kothimora) but these are now lost. Subsequently the scabbard is in a poor state of repair, and would benefit from some gentle attention.
