A late 19th/early 20th century Silver Kothimora Kukri.
13 inch blade, 17 inches overall.
Hardwood grip with attractively carved floral central ring. Some old chipping to the pommel, steel bolster.
The brightly polished blade with twin central spine fullers. Unusual kaudi, sharpened cutting edge with some scattered pitting and staining, which could be polished if desired. No movement between blade and hilt.
Housed in a black leather covered wooden scabbard, mounted with silver kothimora mounts. The top mount attractively carved with a scene of a tiger within a jungle setting. Complete with its original pouch, which is holed, and now secured with twine. Chakmak, Karda, and Khissa now absent.
