A very high quality, WW2 officers grade private purchase ivory and horn hilted kukri.

Likely produced in Darjeeling, which seems to be the manufactureing hub for these well made private purchase kukris.

12 inch blade in good condition, with integral steel bolster.

Slab grips held in place with copper rivets. The pommel capped with a nickel silver butt plate.

Housed in a black leather scabbard with built in frog. 

Chakmak an Karda also ivory hilted, and are tucked into the rear of the frog (no specific provision for them having been provided)

Part of a small collection of good quility kukris being listed over the coming months.

Due to the composition of the hilt, this kukri cannot be shipped outside of the EU.
