A good, late Victorian Silver Plated Hip Flask.
This type of hip flask was a popular private purchase item with officers during the late Victorian period, through to the First World War.
This example is etched on the cap, and cup, with the original owners family crest, and initials, offering an avenue for research.
Generally good condition, measuring six inches tall. Some wear/bleed to the plating, and an old repair to the cap.
