A very good example of a WW1 Princess Mary Gift tin, retaining a lot of its original finish, and still containing a complete packet of tobacco.
The packet has wear to the sides, exposing the tobacco, and upon opening the box you are hit with a pungent smell of tobacco, which is remarkabe after 106 years. There is also a period cigarette roller device, which is unmarked, which was also found in the box.
A nice little grouping which has been tucked away safely, and would make a good basis for creating a complete tin.
