Dutch Klewang Sidearm

Dutch Klewang Sidearm

Code: 11670

SOLD

An untouched Dutch/Netherlands Dutch Klewang Short Sword/Sidearm.

This example was captured and converted by Japanese Invasion Forces during WW2.

The grips appear to be a form of bakelite, with a curved steel cross guard, which is now loose.

17.5 inch single fullered curved blade with old rust, grime, signs of sharpening, and edge nicks.

Complete with its original leather scabbard. The throat has its original leather hanger tab which is hanging by a thread, but present. Some old scuffs, and paint? but basically solid.

Direct from an attic, and in accordingly solid but grubby condition, likely a souviner bring back.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
