Japanese Arisaka Bayonet

Japanese Arisaka Bayonet

Code: 11974

SOLD

A fresh to the market WW2 Japanese Arisaka Rifle Bayonet.

This example bears markings for the Kokura Arsenal at the ricasso.

Some knocks and loss to the wooden grips which have some markings incised to one side. The hooked quillion remains intact, but the muzzle ring is slightly bent. Fully functional release catch to the pommel.

The blade shows signs of sharpening. The steel scabbard has noticeable denting on both sides towards the blades point, making it a good, tight fit, which may well have been the reason it was done.

By no means a mint example, it has been service carried and used. It is completely untouched, and in need of some gentle cleaning.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched. Please send this at the time of ordering, to prevent unnecessary delay in your order being dispatched.
