A very rare and 100% original Polish 2nd Warsaw Armoured Division Officers Tunic.
This tunic was produced by Smith and Harvey of Ipswich, for a Lieutenant H. Kacimierz in August 1941, this information being recorded on the Tailors label to the inside pocket.
The tunic carries the rank insignia of a Lieutenant. It also carries bullion 2nd Armoured Division and 8th Army arm insgnia, bullion "Poland" shoulder titles (damaged). The tunic also carries his medal ribbons, including Africa Star with 8th Army Bar, and the Monte Casino cross. Above these is the Polish Signallers badge in bronze and enamel.
The condition is generally good, minor moth damage to the rear of the tunic. A scarce Tunic, which is researchable, and which has never previously been in a collection.
