A very good WW1 Staff Officers Cap, attributed to Major Alfred Sidell Mason, Devonshire Regiment.
Dark blue body underneath the khaki field cover. with red staff officers band and bullion cap badge and correct thin leather strap with general service buttons
Leather peak with correct green underside.
The interior withleather sweatband. Red silk interior with traces of a makers marking.
Good condition overall, with some minor staining.
