1827 Pattern London Rifle Brigade Officers Sword

A superb regimentally etched example to the "London Rifle Brigade". Other etching including crowned VR cypher, and floral swags. Blade very clean, free from rust and pitting. One or two small edge nicks.

Officers initials "A.C" or possibly second initial "T". which offers up an avenue for research.

Marked at the ricasso "Thos Fletcher 311 Essex Road, London"

Blade length 32.5 inches.

Shagreen grip with copper twistwire complete and in good condition. Plated hilt with extensive losses.

Housed in a steel scabbard, some small dents but generally very good.
