This is a scarce early example of the Staff and General Officers Sword, from the reign of George IV.
Huge 34.5 inch pipe backed blade, with the early style of light floral etching on either side, including GIV Cypher, Crown and the General Officer Insignia.
Some movement between the blade and the hilt, which would be improved with the addition of a blade washer. A small section of pitting on one side of the blade toward the tip.
Sadly lacking its scabbard, but still a scarce early sword in excellent condition.
Strictly over 18's Only.
