A good, used example of an early hand ground 3rd pattern FS knife.
The guard has a mis-stamped 42 /| marking, with the "2" missing.
"4" Mould number to the grip.
Well sharpened blade, measuring half way between 6.5 and 6.75 inches.
Staining and rust to the blade which could be greatly improved on.
House in the correct pattern scabbard marked "W" to the reverse, showing it has been waxed. Tabs and elastic removed.
All in all a very good used example with the harder to find guard marking.
