Decorative carved horn grip with steel inlay, blade still in its original grease.

11.5 inch blade named to a "SGT McCallan, London" 

15.5 inches overall.

Reverse of the scabbard also carries the scratched details "1436166 SGT MCCALLAN RAF"

It is known that many RAF air crew serving in the Burma theatre equipped themselves with private purchase kukri incase of thier planes coming down in the jungle.

Named WW2 kukris are extremely rare, and this presents a unique opportunity for research.
