Compass maker marked CKC/C with serial number, broad arrow and "Mk III"

Case marked Sutton Horsely Co Ltd 1942. The case also carries various owners serial numbers written in pencil, which may offer some scope for research. 

Compass in good working order. with most of the original blackened finish remaining.
