A good example of this Dutch fighting knife, in its original form, not being one of the thousands converted by the Germans during thier occupation of the Netherlands.
Shaped hardwood grip, which shows some old repairs. Acceptance stamp towards the pommel.
Eight inch blade, with acceptance mark at the ricasso. Signs of original blued finish under the rust and grime, signs of service sharpening. Steel cross guard shows Serial number 4573C which matches the frog on the back of the scabbard.
Brown leather scabbard with integral riveted frog with steel tear drop drag.
