An extremely interesting, and large Zulu knobkerry, the haft carved with the words "Port Natal x 1862 x".

Length 26.5 inches.

An old steel eye has been threaded into the pommel of the haft.

A scarce example, dating prior to the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.
