A high quality, WW2 officers grade private purchase ivory hilted kukri.

This variation is the hardest of the private purchase variants to find, and something of a rarity in the kukri collecting field.

This particular example was brought home by a USAF Hump Pilot.

Likely produced in Darjeeling, which seems to be the manufactureing hub for these well made private purchase kukris.

These examples were made without a bolster.

17 inches overall.

Slab grips held in place with copper rivets. The butt capped with a nickel silver pommel plate.

Housed in a black leather scabbard complete with frog.

Chakmak an Karda also ivory hilted and both maker marked, and are housed in thier compartment into the rear of the scabbard.

Part of a small collection of good quility kukris being listed over the coming months.

Due to the composition of the hilt, this kukri cannot be shipped outside of the EU.
