Double Barrelled Percussion Pistol With Internal Hammer

A very rare Derringer type double barrelled pocket pistol, with internal hammer.

Frustratingly no makers markings, although I have seen one other produced by Beckwith.

The two sighted, proof marked barrels also bearing the numerals "1" and "2" 

Foliate engraving to breech trigger guard, and muzzle.

Chequered butt with vacant oval escutcheon in white metal.

Fully functioning action, a single pull on the trigger releasing an internal hammer to strike the percussion cap. Both barrels rotaing easily as they should. 

Some scattered light pitting, with slightly heavier patches to the right hand side of the frame, and left hand side of the barrel. Uncleaned, and untouched condition.
