A good untouched example of the German 1884/98 pattern sawback bayonet.
Maker marked at the ricasso "Gebr Heller Marienthal"
Even patinia to the hilt, metal a grey colour. Blade very clean.
The scabbard and frog are original, but are in better condition than the bayonet itself, and I suspect they may be a later replacement. Light rust to the scabbard.
