1907 Pattern SMLE Bayonet Middlesex Regiment

A very good 1907 pattern bayonet for the British SMLE Rifle, produced by Wilkinson and dated 1916.

This example carries a regimental marking on the pommel of "2/7 T MX" for the 7th Territorrial Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. It also carries a rack number of 230, which is also found on the scabbard throat, so matching numbers to bayonet and scabbard.

Old grease and signs of sharpening to the blade, but no signs of rust or pitting.
